That's what i was trying to say. Forgot to put in the collapse of his AC Milan move, my whole post was based on it Cheers Faurlin, will edit my post so it makes a bit more sense
Agree but this is football and all sorts of madness could happen. Bellamy, whilst no Tevez, dropped to the Championship on loan to go to Cardiff which was a bit of a shock. Who knows? I agree its all a bit surreal but then again following Rangers is like being in the Twilight Zone. We'll all know by the end of the month.
Maybe it's Fernandes that has placed a healthy bet to get us and all the papers in a frency? Cheap marketing and he's a master at publicity stunts.
Correct Eamon, having siad that this market is probably one of the most lively of all the transfer markets, Skybet will have laid CT to go to bot AC and Inter and could balance their market up with a few quid from ssilly Rs fans. No need to go such a short price! This would be bloody ridiculous.......................
Eamonn..."If I were to ring up Ladbrokes and ask them to give me odds on Bonny Langford being Employed by the club to teach them dance moves and fitness exercises they would have a quick check to see if anyone had heard about it, then offer 2500/1"...fook me I only got that at 25 to 1
We know as much of Tevez as they do of Taarabt. Would have been nice with some inputs from someone knowing his situation a little better than us, and at the same time get their view if it's plausible. I'll post it on their board and link it up later if I get some replies, is this ok?
rebel not taken had it right yesterday - get some "ITK" to post the rumour on fantasy island, then lay it on the exchanges waiting for some mugs to weigh in. Before you know it you have a market, and as Eamon says the bookies will react. The rumour could always be true, but my spidey sense is telling me otherwise - besides its a Friday...
The bookies favourite figure at the moment seems to be 1-3 on, as is the case with players linked with us recently the initial long odds are immediately cut to that to suck in the mug punters who believe other peoples money is piling on them on the' no smoke without fire' theory
No deal for City striker as Pato turns down possible move to PSG AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani has confirmed that negotiations for Carlos Tevez were called off after Alexandre Pato confirmed his desire to remain at the San Siro. Sky Sports revealed on Thursday that Milan had halted negotiations with Manchester City over a deal for Tevez. Galliani had flown into England earlier in the week to meet City officials as he hoped to thrash out a deal for the Argentinainternational, having already agreed personal terms with the wantaway striker. However, it also emerged on Thursday that a possible deal that would have taken Pato to Paris Saint Germain also broke down, which was seemingly set to be used by Milan to fund the Tevez transfer. Fate Galliani confirmed that the two deals were reliant on each other and for that reason discussions with City broke down. "I won't talk about Pato's refusal to join PSG, but he wants to remain with Milan", he told Sky Italia as he arrived back in Italy. "He was thinking about this for a few days, but the two operations were bounded between themselves and both had various clauses. "I believe in fate and remember that when Gianluca Vialli said no, then we brought in Marco Van Basten. If Pato wants to remain, then we hope he will do well with Milan. "We have the utmost faith in the strikers at our disposal, also trusting in Antonio Cassano's swift return, as he will become our big new signing." Inter Inter Milan are now believed to be preparing a new offer for Tevez, something which Galliani did not want to be drawn on. "Will Tevez go to Inter? I have considered this as a possibility, but prefer to keep it to myself. I am in any case very happy that Pato has made this decision," he said. "I do know what is happening with Tevez, but don't want to comment right now. Will we call Manchester City again? We'll see." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11863/7426231/Milan-explain-Tevez-blow
