Citeh are in an impossible situation with the guy. They don't want him around the place at all yet nobody wants to sign him on a permanent basis because of the personal terms. Perhaps they are thinking that if he wants to be playing they'll let him go to a team in England that won't have any affect on Citeh directly. All of it is very strange so who knows eh?
Im in to 21/20 that Tevez wont come to LR.....He would be brilliant loan signing but just cant see it hapenning. I hate that ugly argie for all his greedy actions ,but would take him to QPR in a heartbeat. He will end back in argentina or in brazil.
If I were you...I'd buy a ticket for the MK Dons Replay. They'll be selling fast tomorrow. Can you imagine, it's QPR v MK Dons.... 62nd minute, Tevez runs along the touchline towards the Loft to warm-up! Followed by Beckham, Alex, Samba and Hulse? You'd be gutted!
Know what you're saying Sub BUT the Malay Asians might see a real coup in heavily investing in a 26/7 year old global name who offers both the West Ham survival factor AND marketing profiles AND a profitable sell on after a year or so... Long shot, I know, but something's inspiring these odds...
Already got my ticket although it will be to watch Hulse, Ephraim and Agyemang rather than any quality signings.
Cannot see him coming to QPR but then i didn't see SWP. You never know with our board? Heard on SSN that ManCity won't allow any loan and it must be a buy so that's why i cannot see him coming. How much does he cost?
£25m or so, maybe Ac were the only ones interested and now Citeh are faced with letting him rot or loaning him to us. He would also help take points off their rivals too. Thats about as much sense as I can make of it. I still think its all bollocks.
No papertalk yet about this rumour....thats a sign its more than rubbish. Let us concentrate more on gettin Stephen Ireland to LR and hope that DJ makes some Tevez magic on sunday.
I just read Tevez is eligible to cancel his contract if he doesnt play 10% of Citehs games, if no one buys him, he can collect £6m in salary and then bugger off on a free. Citeh will be up the creek. Maybe they will have to loan him or lose a fortune if they cant sell him.
If he's homesick in Manchester, I can't see what latin delights would want to make him come to Shepherds Bush
http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/115422-Hughes-can-go-for-Samba-Alex-and-Drogba-but-we-can-t-afford-Tevez-declares-TF Think TF was telling the truth here. Not trying to kill all the enthusiasm or saying a deal can't be done though. Here are the facts, we can't affored Tevez, not his wages, not the transfer fee, we can't even afford his loan fee. With this in mind it's difficult to see how a deal can be done, even if the bookies slash the odds to 1/10! For a deal to be done (supposed that the AC Milan move has collapsed), it all comes down to City. Letting Tevez join QPR will not make sense if you only look at it financially, it will only be if City sees that Tevez playing for QPR can give them a sporting advantage that a deal can be struck. We have all said it before, there are very fine margins in this league. And based on the standing between City, United and Tottenham it's easy to see that this season could be decided by the odd point. We still have to go to Old Trafford, and even with Tevez it's hard to see us get something there. But he "singlehandedly" beat United there with West Ham and kept them up, the chances QPR getting something will increase tenfold if Tevez play. Then theres Tottenham at Loftus Road, that again could shave two maybe three points of Spurs' total haul. And of course, Tevez can't play against City. The possible sporting advantage combined with not having Tevez around causing disharmony (if he's not in Argentina?) is where our hope lie. It will still be an expensive deal for QPR though, including wages and a loan fee i guess it will cost QPR aprox £5m for a 6 month deal. Small change for City, but £5m in, instead of £5m out (i take he's on aprox £10m a year, correct?) makes a £10m difference to City's balance. £5m makes sense in the the short term from a QPR point of view as i can see a combination of Tevez and Hughes guarantee safety. Will City see it this way? Have put this on the City board for inputs as they know his situation fat better than us. Please discuss.
Sky Bet update: Carlos Tevez is now odds on joining QPR after a flood of bets following the collapse of his move to AC Milan. LOL
If people put money on at the bookies, the bookies reduce the odds just in case the punters know something they don't and get caught out. If I were to ring up Ladbrokes and ask them to give me odds on Bonny Langford being Employed by the club to teach them dance moves and fitness exercises they would have a quick check to see if anyone had heard about it, then offer 2500/1. If I publicised it and a load of other people put a couple of quid on then the odds would start to tumble. If every QPR fan bet a quid then soon she would be odds on, despite the fact that there is no possibilty of it happening.
