Pukki was mince, Griffiths too. Making 10 changes should be done on the basis that those stepping up are capable of performing but on yesterday's showing that's far from the case. I understand maybe resting 5 for Tuesday but 10? Nuts.
I can understand him resting 10 players. In the grand scheme of things yesterdays match means f** all. We can afford to lose the odd game here and there either side of CL games and still win the league comfortably. Zaluska is a s**te goalkeeper. Every time he's in goal his nervousness spreads to the rest of the defence, esp. the centre backs, and they end up making simple mistakes. He doesn't command his area like good goalies should.
Yep. He should be out shouting at his defence when they fall asleep. Boruc and forster were good at that always made sure they were focused 100%.
