Dutch international Kenny Tete has signed for just £3.8 million. Though being second choice pretty much every where he has played he does have 13 international caps and over 50 games for both Ajax and Lyon, he also came through the Ajax academy.

Tete is not a Morden full back in that he does not really maraude forward and get crosses in but his strength is more old fashioned defender and is a good 1 on 1 defender.

Weirdly we are expected to announce Olu Aina from a Torino who passed a medical today who is also a right back albeit a more attacking one. With Odoi signing a new contract you would think Christie will be on his way out.

Tete is going to be first choice, you'd think. Aina can play both sides and played plenty of games at LB at Torino, so he's more about improving our overall quality. We struggled for competition last year and I think we're addressing that now.

However, where are the CBs? Are we really going into the season with Odoi and MLM has our back ups?
