I honestly put my hands up and give up with you mate. you obviously know your stats and factsbut have no experience in the game what-so -ever. We used to have a guy on our board (FLYER) and he could prove we were better than Man Utd using stats and various soundbites. Was a great bloke an knew his footy too. In my reckoning over 500 players played in the World Cup finals. Does that make them all world class? Even our own Mahrez played in the finals, but I wouldn't say he is world class. And I don't seem to remember Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern queuing up to buy many of the Australian or Korean Republic players.
Its just a phrase , maybe an overused one. But having watched him close up in matches & shooting drills. I do believe his finishing is world class. He is absolutely lethal.
