There’s a lot of Man U, liverpool etc shirts appearing so we need to get them interested in usBang on that... I've said for eons done on a rota with schools... parent /teacher supervision, minimal stewarding (cost).... build you next KLP, Greaves, Fleming, Coyle base...
Firstly its a monumental effort to get promoted after the sh1t shower of last season and well done to all involved.
Am I confident that Grant McCann will be the man to take us onwards and upwards? Afraid not, but he deserves the chance to try given his and the teams achievement this season.
My fear is that coaches and managers adapt to games .. change tactics etc where needed. I'll be honest I haven't seen a great deal of that this season and at times he has been found wanting, but he is a young manager, he may have learned his lessons, he may realise one plan does't fit all, all we can do is hope. But I repeat he has earned his chance.
Have you watched the Championship this season, bar the top three, we've nothing to worry about.Agreed. While good to watch, I'm not sure how successful our all out attack approach (typified by wingers doing little tracking back, which they were clearly under instruction) will be against better teams. We wont have as much of the ball. We also won't create the number of chances we have this season.
As you say, he deserves the opportunity. Remains to be seen whether we can adapt under him.
Actually, I haven't. Obviously they won't be as poor as a lot we have faced this year. Mid table will do me,Have you watched the Championship this season, bar the top three, we've nothing to worry about.

pitted against the bigger teams such as the owls i am sure we will struggle...
I suspect The Wendies won't even be in our league next year, bring on The Blades though!
Now the dust has settled would it be too much to ask that Eham has been forward planning? It would be good to see McCann leave this week amicably so the new manager can have the next 2 games to properly assess the squad before next season.

You are wrong.... It is a step up, of course, but not big.I have watched some highlights and I think it is a big step up and expect we will need to strengthen a good deal to have any chance of not going back down. I may be wrong of course.
many years ago - i worked with a guy who was Head of Forward Planning - I asked him what was the difference between a Head of Planning and a Head of Forward Planning - he just looked at me
I also don't think theyll sell, but to be fair they will do a fair bit more than "the bare minimum" you mention , just like they have done this season. Now would be the perfect time for the Allams to sell City & hand over to new owners who have the money to invest in the squad to gain promotion to the PL, which the Allams do not have.I have no doubt though this won’t happen & the Allams business plan will be to invest the bare minimum to keep the club operational whilst continuing to pay Allamhouse millions a year in interest on the debt that never goes down.
That would do.Actually, I haven't. Obviously they won't be as poor as a lot we have faced this year. Mid table will do me,

Don’t think that matters too much. MK Dons did not have much of a stadium and played on the old national hockey stadium. The owner had the vision to build a stadium/hotel/leisure complex that now hosts top world snooker events. They are only a mid table league one side but they have an owner with visionProblem is that people with more money than the Allams and with the money required to get a team into the PL would be able to buy a club with their own stadium and a larger fan base. Why would they choose us?
