Very sad indeed, although he has looked increasingly frail in recent months.

One of my fav jockeys of his era, loved him, as much as I disliked Jonjo!

Terry & Henrietta's Facebook what a couple they were. I always picture them running towards each other after their horse had won. Can't remember the race; was it Best Mate or Edredon Bleu ?
 
Just read it myself, very sad news. Terry was a real character who certainly did live life to the full. A damn fine jockey in his time too.

Winter, Biddlecombe, Mellor, Nicholson, Gifford and Turnell. All different, all great characters and all very good jockeys. It became a bit more serious after these.
Terry did live life to the full that's for sure.
 
too young to remember him as a jockey but his partnership with Henrietta Knight was formidable.
