    It's an odd one as they've been saying Mata gets the number 7... then suddenly it's a number 8.
    They could have left Mata with 7 till the summer at least... unless they are going to unveil a number 7 this week too.
    Man Utd are like a big wounded bear and right now they are at their most dangerous in the transfer market as they'll outbid everyone given their cash reserves.

    GFN France reporting that we have made a concrete offer for Grenier but that if it is rejected we may try for Yoann Gourcuff. Pretty much confirmation that Cabaye is off if we didn't already need it.

    Hopefully the news that PSG are trying to move quickly with their DOF in Newcastle will force Man Utd to move now and drive the price up. As long as PSG respond with a counter offer and he ends up there and not in Manchester.

    When we were looking at Cabella the news (I think it was from GFN France) was that we were going to be hiring an agent to handle the negotiations. The question arises again - why is Kinnear even here?

    Sounds like it's a huge fee. Upwards of 22m I'd suggest as "significantly higher than 14m" is likely to be north of 20m easily IMO.
