Fed through like he was playing nothing... straight sets

Anderson has taken the first set off Djokovic who is currently serving to stay in the second... hope Djokovic goes out

Don't think he was expecting a strong challenge. Anderson's serve has been immense as well.

This is shaping up to be an easy set for Djoko tho... Anderson needs to get his head back in the game quick

He can't believe he's winning, Djokovic can't believe he's losing, a case of who'll be more determined.

I may have jinxed him... Since I started watching, Anderson lost 6-1 <laugh>

Novak starting to show signs of life now... had been a bit subdued until this set. Anderson is getting rattled and worried and has started to make some bad decisions, needs to focus on holding his serve

Can def see this going 5 if Anderson can't get his level back to where it was at in the first two sets, this set is done for him so he needs to regroup and try to get it done in the next one

If Anderson wins then titles is pretty much murrays to lose?

nadal is out, federer? He's not been brilliant has he?

that would be two of big 4 out

Federer has been looking supreme lad, dunno which player you've been watching?! Granted he's got bigger tests to come but Gilles Simon in the quarters is not it

Wawrinka is one who could win it... had been in the form of his life until his match against Goffin today where he looked a bit lacklustre and wasn't hitting cleanly

Murray has been looking very good and I don't think has quite produced his best so has something to build towards, but he had that injury scare with his shoulder, if that goes away / doesn't get worse then he's obviously up there

Cilic won the US Open last year and could be dangerous, got quite a big serve and has a good all round game and movement for a taller guy

    Mens' Quarter Finalists as follows...

    Murray
    Federer
    Wawrinka
    Gasquet
    Simon
    Cilic
    Pospisil
    Djokovic/Anderson

I don't think Gasquet, Pospisil, Simon or Anderson (if he gets through against Novak) have much of a chance of winning the title unless they come into staggering never-before-seen form

Anderson has blown this, had it in his hands and he's spewed it.

    Oh well.

I thought Murray had the measure of federer last few years though?

are you lot sure Djokovic wasn't playing left handed first 2 sets or something?

Djokovic showing why he's a great champion and Anderson showing exactly why he isn't.

At this level the major difference between winning and losing is their mental fortitude
