    1. Take her on holiday to portugal.
    2. Go for a meal and leave her behind at the hotel, without a babysitter.
    3. Return home after said meal and voilà!

    Update:

    My landlady finally got back to me and said that she was willing to waive some costs (not all). She's going to send me a revised schedule listing these costs ...

    Also, I asked her if she had protected my deposit and she said 'yeah of course' but she was very hesistant and defensive when I asked which scheme she had used and failed to give me an answer.
