Us dominating the board isn't a good thing as we're marmite characters thus we lose good posters because there's always folk who won't put up with us. Apart from that time with relic where he got it so wrong it was a carcrash, De Five had this place purring, Sort of a neutral character stimulating the football side of board(Off topic side is fine, always has been). If it's left to us we'll drive people off and I'm pretty sure we have done.
Says it all when Tees is our number one transfer rumor poster and he has work and the twins eating up all his time. If it wasn't for him there'd be nothing current on SAFC. He gets about an hour to himself a day if that.
Getting that registration problem sorted has to be the way, get new posters in, fresh characters and new enthusiasm, because there's not enough left on here. Unless somebody radically alters the way they post we'll continue to lack that enthusiasm.
I lack enthusiasm. I need a kick up the arse. I know it's not my love of the club that's the problem, love SAFC more than ever, it this place. It's like a monotonous marriage, the constants are still there but something which had the spark has gone. I think it's variety and balance. the ****ed registration process has to play a big part as the football posters are ****ing off and off topic now appears to dominate. Need it sorting before the window gets in full swing. This place needs off topic and footy balance and the footy side is broken imo. It can't repair without new blood or old blood returning. One half of the board is stagnant and has been for a long time and it makes the other side of the board more dominant, it's a wicked circle which is dwindling the numbers.
Otters will always be otters regardless of how the board is so we can't blame them, they've been about as long as messageboards have existed.
Don't know fella, we need to the mods to roll their sleeves up and look into it.

She is such a good woman, that I made an appointment with the British embassy, went the whole hog and got hitched, so she now is really my wife. so probably not so keen on me going to pole dancing bars again, although me and some of the guys still go la-la into town.
She's a good lass, but nothing will stop me window shopping......you can look but not touch!
Just tell her lots of sun and sand, loads of great restaurants, and great nightlife! don't expand anymore or you will end up in trouble.
The supermods have known about the registration glitch for months. They have asked Mick a few times to fix it but he hasn`t yet. In the meantime the supermods are doing the registrations manually. He`s also been told about the nacked search function as well apparently. These are things only he can put right.

Apologies for not getting back to you guys earlier. Been in bloody meetings all day.
I try to keep popping on during the day but it's not always possible.
With regard to the new user registration, this problem was put to the owner of the site a few months ago.
Its a not606-wide issue, not just our own forum or the footy forums in general.
The supermods can't resolve the problem. It needs the site owner to sort it out.
If strangers are trying to register they'll have a problem but if someone knows someone trying to get on, their details can be sent via pm to the supermods and they can help apparently.

No idea mate tbh. I don`t know whether these glitches can be fixed. It must be fairly major surgery if the supermods can`t sort it.
In the meantime if you know somebody who is having registration difficulties, pm me the details and I`ll pass it on to the supermods to look at manually if that would help.

It's a shame really, he has no idea how many members are actually trying to break into the asylum, we know at least one, Wearside Pride, he'll be fumbling around for another user account by now.
Websites are made up of special coding and algorithms, the coding will often be altered by software errors, these alterations need to be located and corrected.
I've long believed googlebots can be a big cause, as they don't collect information from the threads as we see it, they actually enter the coding to retrieve the information from there which I think is could cause a lot of **** as they in turn carry their own software errors and glitches from site to site.
