See this is where i disagree slightly, how can for example someone be offended or take offence to its use if they don't know what the word means. I would not have known what the word means. It's a bit like when Piskie used the term Pikey, it wasn't until i pointed out to him the offensive nature of the word, did he take it on board. At no point was he being racist or speaking detriment, he didn't know that it could cause offence....but this forum is much like this trigger...
Why would someone call a Jewish person a kike if it wasn’t intended to be offensive. Particularly when the context is something like “**** off kike”?
I've no idea....as i have said, i hadn't a clue what it meant...or even heard of the word. So why would i automatically assume it is an offensive word if i saw it. You have now sown the seeds for us to be offended by it, purely because you tell us it's offensive and literally without research for no other reason.
Is it pronounced kike or kike? I always thought Nike was just Nike but it turns out the correct way to say it is Nike.
I don't think I replied to a post of yours or tagged you in my post so not sure why you think I was asking you to recognise or be offended by the word. Who are "us"?
