When we last got to the League Cup final many mancs told us it wasn't worth winning Diego but the tears and anger shown tonight from two or three on the Utd board show just how much the thing means to Utd and how they can't take a bit of pisstaking back, as on luv's lighthearted thread.
In my opinion a trophy is always worth winning, i don`t even care how you win it (as i said two seasons back on the Chelsea board) if you win the trophy you have played the right tactics to beat the teams you beat.
Can't disagree Diego, but it was wrong for Shwan to take the hump and start slagging one of our posters family and the incest jibes and calling people monkey's etc. He lives in France and just doesn't get the history between the cities and clubs.
I agree, PMK. But, to be honest, I don't think he really understands English, as it's obviously his 2nd language. He seems at a loss with idioms and colloquialisms. But he does seem to really hate Liverpool, to the point of being a bit weird. If I see a bile-filled, anti-Liverpool polemic it's usually by Christian or Shwan. But, you know what they say about hate: hatred is merely the coward's revenge for being intimidated. Shaw said that...I think!
I do indeed Diego, I only have banter or discussion, but I do reciprocate in kind to insults of the kind Shwan used last night.
