Nowhere near as many fans left when we went 4-1 down to Arsenal.

Not that we had as many to lose.

Percentage wise? Plenty going at 2-0 down to Stoke.

I was in hospital when we beat Liverpool for the first time ever and gave my season ticket to a City who was out of work. He said he couldn't believe how many people were leaving early rather than applaud the team off. He said there were some people nearly coming to blows as some fans berated them. The seat was in E10 so he had a good view of what went on.

Middlesbrough winning 2-0. That Bournemouth lot must be crap. Nailed on win for us when we play them.

Burnley are as negative as we are, they're just better at it.

Once again they managed to get points despite having less than 30% possession.

I saw Burnley against Arsenal and they had a lot more of a go than we did, no matter what the stats say.
They played two up top today. That gives Man U something to think about, one up top allows them to apply more pressure.

I saw them play against us and they didn't have a go at all.

I disagree about that Arsenal game as well, they had one decent chance and spent the rest of the game defending on the edge of their box.

They've averaged less than 35% possession in their games this season, that's negative however you want to dress it up. They might be better on the counter attack than us but their still boring as hell.

Marshall was rooted like a tree. Watford win by a goal without actually having a shot on target. Brilliant.

To blame Marshall for that goal is ridiculous.

I said he was rooted like a tree. Which as a keeper, when the ball is in the box you need to be ready for situations like that. It's not like it rocketed past him at 100mph. It just looped, slowly. If he'd had a bit more about him he might have looked like he could have made a save - or at least attempted to save.

To not consider a keeper might also be partly at fault for not being more prepared is also short sighted and a bit dim.

Not as dim as someone who thinks another keeper might, repeat, might have dealt better with a deflected shot.
    You don't know.

I'm not saying another keeper will have saved it. A better keeper would probably have had better positioning and body shape to react to situations like that. Marshall was rooted and wasn't positioned to spring and make an attempted save.

Have a look again at the goal. Very Sunday League.

Just watching other, more highly rated, keepers being beaten by deflections, not judging things properly, rushing out when there is no need...

IMO we have gone backwards since Marshall has been in goal.
Hopefully Jak is back next week. I won't hold my breath though.

If we were going to switch from Marshall to Jak, it would have been yesterday (after his impressive showing midweek), it will definitely be Marshall in goal next week.
