The point is that when you posted you set out the possibilities of an event that you already knew the result of.
Knowledge of the result was irrelevant to the question I was posing & the conclusions that could be drawn from the question.
So why didn't you delete the "options" that had already NOT happened? I assume you were wanting to argue against what people had said before the match ended.
I am totally confused (which is not a rare event on these boards) and when I'm confused I am reminded of this:

Didn't want to argue at all, before, during or after the match. You & others implied you wanted a draw. I wanted a Villa win. I hoped I'd laid out why by presenting the permutations. You may disagree with my conclusion.
If that's not arguing I don't know what is!
"Arguing" isn't necessarily bad. Would you prefer "discussing"?
It doesn't matter what the best result for us would be. The result was a draw. They are both a point nearer survival. We have to live with that and do something about getting three points in the match in hand to take us away from both of them.
That's the second time you've posted that picture, it's slightly troubling that it's the first image that springs to mind when you are confused....

I wanted a draw. At this stage it's impossible to tell how well teams will do so the more that are in the mix the better.
In a Homer Simpson-esque way, I can now see him watching the film Avatar in the vain hope of learning something, only to be disappointed and even more confused.
