Was just wondering which players you would like to start at OT?

There are so many options we could go with...

what i'd like and what will happen are two different things.

I think we will play 4-5-1

the back line may be the same as spurs or if enrique returns kelly will drop out.

the midfield should be

kuyt gerrard spearing adam bellamy

carroll should be up top.

downing and suarez and hendo to come in as well.


I expect utd to do similar but call it a 433 using young and valencia wide of rooney..... scholes gigges and carrick i nthe middle with vlaencia doing an awful lot of donkey work.... same back 4 as their last trot out despite goals conceeded.

I'll predict a bad tempered game with nasty athmosphere leading to a draw of some sort.

Carrolls coming good, but lets face it, if he had cost us a couple of million he'd be on the bench/not starting. As it is, we're giving him a good run of games to try and get some form to justify his cost. Fair enough. But with a front 4 of maxi, bellamy, gerrard and Suarez (still not an out and out finisher, but the best we have) how can we not score?
 
Depends on a few things, like Enrique's fitness, and Suarez's match finess.

I can see Spearing, Gerrard, Henderson and Downing all starting, with the reglar back line.

I'd have Bellamy in if he's good to go.

but that might be a bit too attacking, prob switch hendo with spearing, and maybe put him in for kuyt
 
maxi for me in the past two appearances has been so poor and leggy and unable to get aorund that i don't want to see him in this game.

He has a habit for being in the right place at the right time though. His goals per appearances record isn't too shabby at all

Hope he does, i think hes the type of player that will use the boos as encouragement... look at his goal vs stoke in the cc.

Gerrard on the right is his best position to add to our attack and support Carroll in the manner we saw when he had just returned from injury. Suarez and Carroll should start together- Suarez should be able to get on the end of some of Carrolls knock ons. Bellamy has to be first choice LW, Adam is actually a really good player when alongside a DM (eg: game vs wolves where I think he got a couple of assists and looked impressive). Best thing about the team is that all of our forward players have the class to produce something out of nothing. I think this should be our first team for the rest of our season- with Kuyt in for Gerrard and Downing in for Bellamy when the older players need a break............

Suarez to come on at some point.

Kuyt in for big game experience and workrate, Bellers knee's should be O.K.
