Team Vs. Spurs (FA Cup 3rd Round)

Yep I'll be having an FA cup weekend. Fox soccer showing a lot of live games from Friday night through to our game on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing us beat Spurs

 

Are we allowed to play Dyer?

I really don't see the benefits of playing Drinkwater in a cup game when we have so many other options in midfield (Inler, King,James). We need him as fresh as possible for when the league games return.

I just thought that after his injury a slower paced F.A. Cup game could get him back to his usual sharp self in time for the important league game.

 

I'd go with Inler and King myself and have DD on the bench if needed for 20 mins or so.

Ranieri has said Ben Chilwell is staying as he only has 1 left back in Fuchs. Schlupp is a winger and he will return in a few weeks

Jamie Vardy is doing well and working with the physio and will be back for the league game with Tottenham

Matty James played well for the under 21's and will be able to make a first team return at the end of the month

He also said since the friendly with Birmingham he has wanted Demarai Gray but admitted before that he had never heard of him

He said he will talk with Gokhan Inler to find out if he wants to go out on loan and Liam Moore will probably go out on loan again

 

Like every year (almost) Not bothered about the cups. CR can put out the res´s for me & then have a real go v Spurs midweek.

 

We were linked with Gray last season - bet that Walsh told him to keep an eye on him.

Good use of a friendly as well - I remember getting annoyed that we didn't get a big foreign team in like before but no complaints now (if he turns out to be more then half decent).
