Even if we get 2pts in those two games, as I said in the "Black and White Decision" thread, it will be too late. For the second season in succession it will be all over before the clocks are turned back.
I really haven't seen an outstanding team this season in this league. Teams like Boro, Derby and Burnley should be making the running but aren't, so teams like Brighton and Reading who have put a run together have gone top. We are where we are, a middly team, our Home form has let us down, but a lot of the games in this league have been close with only a goal separating teams.

But I don’t want us to be a middly team in an average League. No, that’s not quite correct. What I don’t want, is to see us under achieving. Picking up on rosc’s earlier point,

Kit has not got the technical ability to formulate any technical innovations.

He’s so naïve and predictable in all that he does. Take the bench last night. Every one of the players sitting there was a like for like replacement for one on the pitch and more importantly you could have set your alarm clock for when he would make the substitutions. Kit seems to go into games with nothing more than a hope that it will be “all right on the night” and a mind set that doesn’t enable him to recognise when that’s not the case.

....... Ream could come back in if he's fit again, and left back could see Husband return for Garbutt now that he's not facing his parent club. With Cairney still (I think) suspended the front six will probably be unchanged. The biggest question is whether Lonergan is fit enough to play. Fingers crossed.

It would be good to have Ream, Husband and Cairney back. I thought Lewis did the necessary with a few good saves, and got close to the penalty (altough I could not see that so clearly).

I'd have loved to have had Patrick Roberts on the bench to bring on for Dembele certainly earlier than Kit brought on Kaca - Dembele became less effective once he got a yellow card.

Roll on Saturday against a decent team. COYW!
