Next is Wolves in the Carabao Cup. Wes Morgan returns from suspension meaning Matty James is the only missing player. So here is what I would go with

    Ward

    Amartey
    Evans
    Soyuncu
    Fuchs

    Ricardo
    Silva
    Iborra
    Albrighton

    Iheanacho
    Vardy

Subs- Jakupovic, Morgan, Chilwell, King, Gray, Ghezzal, Okazaki

Danny Simpson and Andy King are playing for the under 23’s tonight so wont be involved

But no Hamza Choudhury tonight. So either injured or with the first team

Very strong for a second string that. Every one of those would start without a question being asked... saying that many do!!

Win on penalties, we even made hard work of that.

Unfortunately Gray suffered an injury going in for a tackle, looked like he got his studs caught and went over on his ankle badly. Stretchered off and it didn't look good.

Gray is still here and it may not be as serious as first feared. Might just be ligaments. Some positive news #LCFC

For all the crap I gave the club for spending so much in Ward, he might be worth a good couple of quid at least.

Silva had a good game - was everywhere he should have been and everywhere Wolves didn't want him to be.

Perrera got a lesson in English football - was knocked around a lot but to his credit he got up quickly and carried on.

Gray's injury didn't look good at all - Wolves fans were ready to give him **** but instantly stopped when they saw his reaction. Wasn't taken straight to hospital which is a good sign.

Must have watched a different game. I thought Silva was awful. Yet again done nothing of note and let the game pass him by. Iborra played much much better

I was in the home stand opposite our fans and agree Silva didn’t impress me much, he’s neat and tidy but needs some more thrust up and down the pitch, he just seemed to be fulfilling the same role as Iborra, who was better due to his physical presence. On another note the venom aimed at Vardy was spectacular where I was sitting. His wave to the home fans when he went off really got to a few of them, and the song our fans were singing saying he’s won more than you sent some into meltdown.

Yep for me Ward and Iborra were my stand out performers also thought Albrighton has a good alround game.

I was watching a stream and it seemed that he was always there when we were attacking or defending.

Most disappointing player was Okazaki - didn't do anything of note at all.

Some good news regarding Gray though - doesn't look like it is a break so his recovery time is weeks instead of months https://www.skysports.com/football/...-gray-facing-weeks-out-following-ankle-injury

Silva done nothing all game. Mercury on have him a 5 and Iborra got 7

Okazaki never does anything. Just pressured backlines with his work rate

He wont play much this year. He just looks too slow now
