Which brings us to the question of who will Symons target for the transfer window. Think we need to bring in experience as I'm sure by now they should have identified which younger players need more time to settle and which can stay part of the squad. We have a large squad but a lot of that is youngster finding their feet. I'm struggling to come up with realistic targets who have the Championship experience
I think that other than their featured game, they schedule the Football League Show more or less according to league position, working their way down the table. We'll be on earlier in the running order when we are higher up the table or when we play clubs higher up the table. I was hoping that our recent revival plus the talking point of Kit's first game as permanent manager might make us the featured game, but there were a lot of other clubs with similar angles for them to pick up on.
After the year we've had I'm OK with not being the talking point any more for a while. Not being the talking point reminds me of our greatest years, strangely.
