The formation at 13 seconds is pretty random. We played 4-3-3, Diarra and Murphy holding and Dembele advanced with Duff on the right and Dempsey doing whatever he fancied.
Sorry to say this, I enjoy Hanson, Lawro - bit like tradition. Jimmy Hill was also decent watch. I'd always sway towards Neville, I think he's done very well this year.
I don't have Sky so I have no opinion on Neville. As for tradition, I'll never have a word said against Jimmy Hill on any subject whatsoever. Incidentally, we had decorators in a few months ago, and when Mrs Captain got some quotes in, one of them was from a bloke called Jimmy Hill. Turns out he's a Pompey fan, but the name was still enough to make sure he got our business!
I like Lawro - just for comedy value really. I also think Neville is a good pundit -hated him as a footballer but he certainly knows his stuff. Redknapp is just the "handsome one" for Sky -which seeing who is Dad is is actually some form of minor miracle - but I do like Souness. Always honest with his opinions I feel and calls a spade a spade. I like listening to both David Pleat and Graham Taylor on Radio 5 and Kevin Gallagher is pretty good on their too. Nevin is great on the Friday Night Colin Murray show with Perry Groves, who doesn't attempt punditry but does have a wealth of amusing football related stories.
Many thanks Super Bri. The first one was a foul on Riise but the second was exactly what I had been looking for. It proves that it was definitely a foul on Demps but as suspected outside the box. Since we won I guess it doesn't in the end matter, but seeing it again salves the irritation I had from that first minute that Mr Mason was not going to do us any favours. Well, it wasn't just me but all Cottagers who made their disagreement heard, especially in the second half - his assistant down the JH side was just as culpable. Mini-rant over. But thanks again for passing the clip on.
The one that irritates me, was their goal, if you look when Boyce scores a Wigan player was offside, and he had to move out of the balls path to goal to let it in, so that is interfering with play. I was in direct line and shouted offside to the linesman but of course it wasn't given. Their argument would be he didn't touch it.
It's that age old argument, if you're not interfering with play then what are you doing on the pitch? Nonsense.
