Thought it was a very even match in the first half, neither team really at the races, we were very lucky not to go in 1 down, we seemed to come out in the second half a bit quicker. You guys, like Palace a few weeks ago, will be more than fine this year playing as you did, i wouldn't be surprised if we all finished in a very similar position. Actually looks like it could just be the golden boy Eddie Howe going back down this year from the promoted 3.
The pressure on Vardy stepping up to take that penalty must have been immense. Genuinely felt a bit for the lad, but he absolutely smashed it home!
If Newcastle play like they did against Bournemouth, Vardy certainly could equal the record ... and put himself even further ahead as top goal scorer
I thought Watford was playing pretty well up until Gomes decided otherwise. Once Kante scored the game changed and we pushed on. Watford will feel they deserved something but in the cruel world of the Premier League as we found out last season. You cant afford to have a poor 20 minute which is what they had after Kante scored. So 2-1 was probably about right I think along as someone else starts to score goals alongside Ighalo then they won't get relegated
