Deeney was the difference in the end, much better than they guy they had on in the first leg, well done Watford.
What is it with the French taking penalties for us in playoff semis? Absolutely gutted, lost for words... Yeh the best team won, but if we loaned 8 players in to our first 11, we'd be good too
Good approach to the game today from your team, couldnt really have done any more.Hope you and his bosses are not too hard on the manager...gotta fear for his future though. You'll surely be up there again next season -yep no consolation at the moment. With one or two exceptions you've not been a bad bunch (to listen to some Watford people you're a city of Demons!) Intruders like The Scarborough Character dont do anything for you but he seems to have a bit of a difficulty -and will probably just melt away now. Bad Luck
I do feel bad for you guys. You played very well on Thursday, and again today. It was a fantastic day and the atmosphere was electric. You fans were very gracious in defeat and should be very proud of this season. But in the end it was a slightly better Watford team who won through.
