Marc Albrighton is expected to miss out with a hamstring injury that seen him miss the Man U game. Daniel Amartey is the only other injury. So here is what I would play Ward Ricardo Maguire Evans Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Choudhury Barnes Maddison Vardy Subs- Jakupovic, Simpson, Morgan, Mendy, Gray, Ghezzal, Iheanacho
Schmeichel Pereira Evans Maguire Chilwell Tielemans N’didi Gray Maddison Barnes Vardy Subs: Ward, Simpson (over Fuchs to allow option of pushing Pereira up), Morgan, Mendy, Ghezzal, Okasaki, Ihenacho
Talk is Marc Albrighton could miss the rest of the season Gray needs to step up now and hopefully Barnes gets a run in the team and takes his chance
Puel confirmed that the injury is more serious that initially thought and he'll need surgery, unikely to return before the end of the season. Also, stated no rift with Vardy despite Vardy calling him a f@cking kn@bhead last week...
Kasper Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell Ndidi Tieliemens Mendy Maddison Vardy Barnes Or Same back 5 Ndidi Tielemans Gray Maddison Barnes Vardy
We are now only 8 points clear of the bottom 3. Now im not suggesting we are in the relegation scrap but unless we pick up a few results in the next few games we will be
I have no worry - our mighty goal difference of -1 will help us out if things do go belly up. We are 3 points worse off then this stage last season but 8 points better off then 2 seasons ago. We are 19 points worse off then 3 seasons ago but that was the greatest outlier ever.
I remember my first full season as a Leicester fan. We lost 8 of the last 9 and the following season that negative momentum continued and we finished bottom which was our last ever season at Filbert Street We cant afford to take this negative momentum much further. For me if results havent come in the next 3 or 4 games. Puel has to go now else we will probably get right into the relegation mix Their is a cloud over the club that has been there since West Ham home and Palace away last season. It hasnt really shifted
Aside from really crappy starts, the only negative momentum we have is in attack - pretty much everywhere else we are doing well. I will wait until March to start panicking - we would have played Palace and Brighton then who are the two teams directly below us.
If were not safe by mid March Puel cant be in charge for a second longer. Our next 6 fixtures are Tottenham A Palace H Brighton H Watford A Fulham H Burnley A By the end of them games we are either completley safe or in deep deep ****
I agree - but I'm not one to look for the worst until I have to so I am hopeful of my prediction of beating Spurs tomorrow followed by a two draws playing out.
Its not about looking at the worst. It would be us all over to win tomorrow and then lose again at home You have to consider everything Gary Neville was on about earlier Sir Alex was always looking at the next 5 or 6 games aswell as the next one and planning for it We have to do that as a club. Not point by the end of the Burnley game looking at the table, being in the **** and then start thinking about things. Things have to change now. Puel needs to be less stubborn about his style. Get the results against Palace and Brighton and then we should be fine. We need some results as we havent beaten the teams below us for a very long time. That will cost us dearly if it isnt sorted fast
We are looking much further then that as this season is almost definitely going to be Puel's last with us. Our next manager will be working under a tight budget due to us spending all future TV rights on the new training ground so the owners won't want an expensive knee jerk reaction and also will want to get the right person who will build from within/work to a budget - is no coincidence that the bookies have Benitez, Rodgers and Dyche as favourites as that is their MO. Puel's sole duty now is not to get us relegated and then mutually agree to leave with a nice wad of cash back to Legue 1 at the end of the season.
We won't get relegated. Huddersfield and Fulham are gone and there's too many teams below us. Everyone has to play each other, so let's not go pressing the panic button.
Dont buy that for a second. A few weeks ago Puel’s task was 7th, then it was as high as possible and now its just to stay up? If we finish 17th its no mission accomplished. The bloke would need shooting
Schmeichel, Ricardo, Maguire, Evans, Chilwell, Mendy, Tielemans, Maddison, Ghezzal, Barnes, Gray Subs- Ward, Morgan, Simpson, Choudhury, Ndidi, Okazaki, Vardy What a twat
