Really does look like your building the momentum at the right time lads. I for one hope you stay up and on today's performance you'll do that
... thanks Valley ... and to return the compliment I hope we can establish ourselves in the Prem in the same way (i.e playing attractive football) that the Swans have ....
Congratulations Leicester, great performance and your fans were a magnificently noisy bunch of bastards throughout (if the ringing in my ears is anything to go by) - fantastic support! You're going on a good run at exactly the right time; had you down as certs for relegation a few weeks ago but think you will survive quite comfortably if the team continues to show that level of commitment and passion. Happy to be proved wrong and really hope you are still Premier League next year. The speed at which your lot closed us down, I thought that you would eventually tire and we would get back into the game - but you didn't and we didn't. Good luck for the final few games and see you next season!
Today was our best 90 minute performance of the season. Nigel was bold in his selection with King coming in and starting with 3 at the back. Im just in awe of Cambiasso everytime i watch him at the minute. His legs might be 1 yard off the pace but his brain puts him 2 yards ahead. Never seen someone read the game so well. IMO he has inspired the team to put this run together. Next week will be massive and the Chelsea game will be a bonus game. We need to carry on this approach between now and the end and i think we will be fine As someone who has backed Nigel Pearson 100% from the start its great to see him turn the results around as both a Leicester fan and a football fan
Our worst performance this season was the away game against Swansea so what a turn around. Every player was up for this so credit to them and Pearson and his team for the level of intensity from first minute to last. Our attacking and midfield players have been superb lately but defensively we have been so much better since Huth arrived.
If Nugents injury is bad then i think we will recall Chris Wood He isnt doing much for Ipswich so he might aswell come back if Nugent isnt fit
Ref got it right IMO. No pen, no dive. Doesn't take much to knock a 9 stone bloke over when he's running full whack.
Vardy struggled to walk off the pitch He put in one hell of a shift yet again I cant single anyway out for having a bad game today. MOTM was between King and Cambiasso for me with Cambiasso edging it
Well played Leicester, a fully deserved win. Good luck for the season and hope you guys can stay up (along with burnley).
I mean it may be irrelevant now but for me it was a clear push in the back. I was watching it on some Yank TV channel & they all said it was a pen & judging by the 6 or so different angles (which the ref doesn´t have) it was a foul. Any where else on the pitch & it would of been given as a free kick. But still like I said, I guess it´s irrelevant. So next weekend is another cup final & each one just seems to be bigger than the last. The Burnley game is massive for 2 reasons. 1, because it´s a relegation rival & 2, because as it stands we have the momentum. A so called `6 pointer` if I´ve ever seen one. "UTF"
Agreed. Really high intensity performance throughout. Hope we can keep it going. Special mention for Albrighton who after his long overdue selection has come into the team and performed really well.
Credit to him, hes kept his head down and kept himself fit and ready to go, even with 80-90% of the fans shouting for him to be included.
