As we would give a big thumbs up to anyone that got O'Neill - but try asking the Sunderland fans about him.
Neither. To call him mad would be an attempt to justify his vile actions. To call him misunderstood would be to somehow imply he had a valid point. Hitler would go down as the second most evil man to have ever lived. After James Pearson.
Sunderland fans were really exited to have MON at the club and everyone thought they would do well when he was appointed - no one thought that he was a bad appointment including us and no one thought he would fail like he did. Contrast that with CR where it was all pessimism - aside from Chelsea fans who who still speak highly of him - and no one though he would succeed (albeit only over 5 game) as well as he has.
At this current moment in time..Ranieri is a far better manager than Pearson....fact. Anyway, back on to the topic and moving away from you ladies getting your knickers in a twist Schmeichel Morgan Huth Fuchs Dyer Kante Inler Drinkwater Albrighton Mahrez Vardy
It was the drugs. FACT, 90% of what has happend in europe since 1945 is AH´s fault. One hell of a knock on effect.
We all have our own opinions. Mine are... MO´N did brilliant for us in his time here, winning 2 lge cups (getting us into europe) & 3 top 10 finishes. NP did brilliant in his time here, winning lge 1 & the championship (getting us to the prem) & then keeping us there, this is why CR is Leicester manager today. CR has started well, but so far, is no where near the 2 ex Leicester managers above.
Don't get how this has ended up into a managerial debate NP worked wonders here and always achieved his goals and left the club in a miles better state then he found it during both his spells here. Ranieri has even said Pearson deserves a lot of credit for this season But his time is over now and as I said before I wasn't a big fan of Ranieri's appointment but I would give him a chance, so far I have been impressed with him and my biggest concern was he was going to come in and Tinker with everything but he hasn't and has continued to surf the wave of last season. Its still early days to judge him either way but its so far so good
I would start with: ------------------------------------------Schmeichel -- De Laet----------------Huth----------------------------Morgan------------Fuchs -- Albrighton----------------Drinkwater-------Kante----------------------Schlupp -- ----------------------------------------Mahrez -- ----------------------------------------Vardy It's tough to have to leave out players like Inler, Okazaki, Ulloa, Kramaric and King but there are plenty of options in the squad that allow us to change our formation depending on how the game is going.
I'd have Ulloa in there to add a physical presence and take all the tackles that would otherwise be aimed at Mahrez and Vardy. ------------------------------------------Schmeichel -- De Laet----------------Huth----------------------------Morgan------------Schlupp -- Mahrez----------------Drinkwater-------Kante----------------------Albrighton -- ----------------------------Ulloa------------Vardy
That certainly makes sense. However I don't like the prospect of De Laet being so exposed with only Mahrez in front of him, and Schlupp normally finds himself out of position at least once in a game when he plays full back. It was far easier to pick our side when we had fewer good options! Now, whoever we start with, there is always a lot of quality left getting restless on the bench. That's the price of progress.
No Nathan Dyer and it looks like a 4312 to me Stoke- Butland, Johnson, Cameron, Wilson, Pieters, Van Ginkel, Whelan, Shaqiri, Bojan, Arnautovic, Walters Subs- Given, Muniesa, Ireland, Odemwingie, Joselu, Wollscheid, Crouch Leicester- Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan, Huth, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Inler, Kante, Mahrez, Okazaki, Vardy Subs- Schwarzer, Simpson, Benalouane, King, Albrighton, Kramaric, Ulloa
No wingers? odd formation for me, unless it gives DeLaet and Schlupp more cause to push forward and get cover.
Inler stays in but Albrighton dropped, in the week he was revealed to be one of the leagues fastest players? Interesting.
Sorry but we really need to address that DEF. It´s toss for the prem & will be our achillles heal. I don´t care if we´re 2nd & unbeaten (as I write). It´s crap full stop.
What a howler from Morgan. Bad day at the office today as I predicted. Oh well on to the next one Can't win em all
Well that´s the perfect e.g of what I´m on about. ****ing ****. Teams ain´t going to be scared of having a go at us. This Stoke team ain´t done **** all all season & we come to town with our 1st div DEF & they (SCFC) think it´s ****ing xmas.
Awful line up from the start. We can't keep going a goal or two down before we start playing. Defence is ****e compared to last season and at least in the run in last year we went out for the quick start and getting our noses in front. Really negative this and coming back to get draws and a win in the last three has masked the problem
