Story of the season - we started this season with a 4-3 loss where we were leading and finish it with a 5-4 loss where we were leading.
Some defensive errors from both teams and we didn't deserve to lose that. We did at least put some effort in, which has been sadly lacking. And Mo Salah wins the golden boot
In a way not too disappointed. We knew the defence needs a massive overhaul but great to see us back as a strong attacking unit. Crazy game and we probably should have got at least a point given the chances. Still not sure on Puel, a much better last couple of games but can he adapt at home to Stoke and Bournemouth? Glad Kane didn’t get the required goals he needed....twat
Bit confused about the anti harry kane stuff? Best english striker scoring for fun along with our own sir jamie in a world cup year. Blue tinted glasses off and 3 lions shirts on methinks. And by god do we need it !!!!
Personally I was fine with him, have him in my fantasy team and was pleased he was scoring goals. However after the way he appealed for that goal that Eriksen scored, the greed shown and it being about him not the team, I wanted Salah to win the golden boot since then. He’s have argued it was his goal if it took that kind of touch off a defender from his shot and was awarded as an own goal. Put me right off him
Iheanacho has really come on alot in the last few weeks. Next season I think he will be a big player for us Jamie Vardy 23 goals PUEL OUT
Riyad Mahrez is the only player to contribute both 10 goals & 10 assists in 2 of the last 3 PL seasons Anything less then £70M we shouldnt even consider
There have been many players over the years I didn't like for their club but supported for England. Kane and Alli, I just can't do it. I tried and failed miserably at the Euro's, very much like they did. I'll be glad if Kane scores us goals but he's so objectionable it'll be muted support. On a different tangent, had anyone seen Appleton recently? My limited pictures and viewing of the last few matches he's nowhere to be seen, not on the bench with Puel out talking to the subs etc.
Southgate won't play them together up front - Vardy can look forward to playing as a left winger if he is even given a start.
