I want him gone, but i see no point in sacking him now (unless players start handing in transfer requests), bring in a fresh manager at the end of the season, no reason to bring someone in now with nothing to play for. Its just a shame that the team will be booed after more performances like that and it looks like the lap of honour after the last game of the seasons going to look as pathetic as it did last season. Its all good "blooding youth" but not when the team looks so uncomfortable playing the way he wants. Ndidi was getting nosebleeds playing so high up the pitch with Southampton showing no intention of pressing us high, Ricardo had a great game against Everton in midfield, so of course Puel put him at RB yesterday. Credit to Puel for changing at half time, knowing they would just park the bus, was working well when Gray was on the right, unable to cut in, forcing him to actually look for his team mates and freeing up Barnes on the left, then ... he bought Ghezzel on ... moving Gray to the left and suffocating Barnes out of the game. Did Iheanacho refuse to come on? We needed bodies in the box to get on the end of knockdowns and second balls, but i guess crossing to Vardy who was being marked by a 7 foot defender was the tactic? Also credit to Puel for figuring out it wasnt working and putting Maguire and Morgan up there to get some of those crosses, just a shame it happened 3 minutes before the whistle when Southampton hadn't posed any threat for over half an hour.
I hope that was sarcasm Credit for changing it at half time? We was 2-0 down at home to 10 men to a team in the bottom 3 and we had 3 defensive midfielders on the pitch! Against teams that we will have the ball Mendy, Choudhury and Ndidi are getting in each other way, they are standing next to each other all the time meaning there is anyone in space to pass to and neither of them is creative at all Choudhury tried to make things happen yesterday but he shouldnt have to. Either he sees the tactics isnt working himself and tried to take the game to the opposition himself or Puel is asking a 20 year old defensive midfielder to start creating things Not having a pop at Hamza at all. He did well but shouldnt have ever been put in the position where he has to take that responsibility on when we just sold Iborra and have £20M+ Adrien Silva locked in a cupboard somewhere 3 defensive midfielders cost us yet again. By the time Barnes and Gray get on we have 10 men defending their goalline. They have little space and time to make things happen. Cant really take their full backs on as they are so deep and have 2 or 3 men to beat everytime
Terrible display - Mendy had a complete mare ... there was no danger at all when Long received that ball ... two absolute farcical amateurish penalties in 2 games ... and Long would not have scored without Kaspar's 'assist' ... was probably going wide ... big wake up calls needed and some questions need answering ... why was Mendy the last defender on both occasions that led to goals?
As an aside, be interested to hear all of your thoughts about stewards confiscating 'Puel out' banners? Think it's poor form personally but wondered if you lot thought the same?
Overreaction ... one old girl with a hand written piece of cardboard ... guess what will happen at the next game?
Can anyone tell me the difference between this goal and Chilwell's at Arsenal? Chilwell's went down as an own goal if my memory serves me right. Is it because Shane Long hadn't scored for about 3 years, so they felt sorry for him?!!!!!
Yeah I think it's wrong anyway but hadn't considered that... you're quite right though that it will likely make it worse. Don't like stewards at any club doing that sort of **** tbh.
Deserved it as it was a **** effort In seriousness I don’t agree with her and think the negativity of sections of the crowd is only making the feeling worse rather than just getting in and supporting your team but free speech and that even if it is negative and ****e
I'm afraid it's lost on me. I Googled HIAG and got this: "HIAG was a lobby group and a denialist veterans' organisation founded by former high-ranking Waffen-SS personnel in West Germany in 1951. Its main objective was to achieve legal, economic and historical rehabilitation of the Waffen-SS." That sounds all very un-PC and is probably the only thing in common with FF's avatar.
It’s a Spurs fan on the general prem board (short for Hoddle is a God) who regularly makes a dick of himself and who @FosseFilberto has a love hate relationship with. Fosse and @The Liebherr Legacy had a bet on the game at the weekend. Winner picks the avatar thing for the loser. Fosse lost....
Sorry but As John has explained it was an avatar bet from the weekend. Ten men, we only need ten men...
Quite a useful abbreviation. If he hadn't survived his heart scare a little while back then the 'G' could have stood for 'Goner'. Too soon?
