    The actual team is
    Ben Hamer

    Paul Konchesky
    James Pearson
    Liam Moore
    Marcin Wasilewski
    Anthony Knockeart
    Riyah Mahrez
    Gary Taylor Fletcher
    Michael Cain
    Ryan Watson
    ChrisWood

    Subs
    Adam Smith
    Wes Morgan
    Andy King
    Jeff Schlupp
    Tom Hopper
    Jack Barmby
    David Nugent

Not sure of the formation as Cain and Watson are new ones on me

Big chance of Pearson, Cain and Watson. If they impress they could get a loan move to a decent League 1 side and help them progress hopefully into the Leicester setup

Michael Cain has always impressed for the development side so hopefully he steps up for the 1st team

Humiliated on your own patch by a League2 side <laugh>

Chris Nugent is the worst striker in the PL. Can't even score against Shrewsbury <doh>
That was one of your few opportunities for a win this season. Let the run of LLLL's begin

Im not bothered that we lost. With the injuries we have at the minute Arsenal on sunday is much more important then a cup run. We need to stay up and establish ourselves not go on a cup run

A cup run would have been nice but hey ho

Could be worse, we could be Man U fans

Shrews fan here in peace. We were on the top of our game tonight and are unbeaten so far this season. You fielded a weakened side and that gave us a chance which we took - by the time you put on your experienced men the pattern of the game was set. All the best for the rest of the season and hope you consolidate in the Premier League - Shrews fans have nothing but respect for your manager -top man.

One thing Shrewsbury did tonight, which I wish the hell we did, was leave 2 men up front when we had a corner. You clear the danger and have a couple of outlets. We bring everyone back, clear the corner which is just pumped back in to our box and keeps the pressure on us.

Congratulations mate and the win was fully deserved IMO. Good luck for the rest of the season ;)

No need to worry about having another game mid week, I´m happy with that. What you doing up so late anyway ? Are you lot still on summer holidays ?

Humiliated by not having a clue about football. Sure you´re not an arm chair Manc Poo fan ?

Normally I'm against playing 'weakened' sides but we really had no choice in this one .... good of Man United to ensure we got minimal press coverage <whistle> <laugh>

Cheers Grif ... nice try but you'll need to do far better if you really want a reaction from here. Would have loved a run in this cup but unfortunately we need to get our first choice midfield back ASAP so needs must ... to put it in perspective, our enire midfield last night were still nusing at the maternal milkshake parlour when most of your current back were already first team regulars ... food for thought my friend.... food for thought ... <whistle>

...simples ... it meant that we now at least have a realistic chance of having Drinkwater, Vardy and perhaps Hammond available at the weekend ... which we are going to need ... we are playing the Champions League North London club ... as opposed to the markedly inferior Europa lot <whistle>
