Starting to think myself the Germans not what Steve Bruce thought or why is he not getting more game time .... Maybe he will start v Crystal Palace and we can get a better idea ... Something doesn't seem right Charlie and I'm sure you must be wondering by now ?
The thing is for Steve Bruce he is used to spending big on strikers. He brought Asamoah Gyan and Darren Bent for around 10-15M each. So spending 2.5M on a striker didnt seem that much to him. 2M+ is alot to spend on 1 player when you are in this league. And if he do spend that you need to see some sort of return pretty early else people start to get on the players back

Knockaert has a hell of a lot of ability now and he is nowhere near the finished article. While Aluko isn't the finished article either but he doesn't have the potential of Knockaert
From what I've been told, Knockaert is a brilliant player and a great prospect. Without trying to have Hull bias here, I do truly believe that Aluko is the Championship's next big thing when Zaha leaves for better things. Aluko has that drive about him, goes back to his own half and pushes the team up and with 8 goals and how ever many assists, he's certainly doing his part. My Leicester loving family have said Knockaert doesn't really go back for the ball, but stays in dangerous positions and seems to weave magic on and off the ball when the team is attacking.
Great win for us at the weekend, I am never confident about away games, and would have taken a point, definitely wasn't expecting a win. Sounds like we played really well though, good for Marshall to get back on the scoresheet. As for the Aluko/Knockaert debate that this thread seems to have turned in to... Aluko was always sh*te on FM, just had pace and that was it. When he was playing well for Rangers I didn't pay much attention as, well, it's Scotland and Samaras and Anthony Stokes can set the SPL alight. But from the little I've seen of him he actually looks like he has some talent, the goal he scored against Bristol City was a good move and well taken, wouldn't have minded signing him at Leicester so fair play to you. Just as happy with Knockaert on the other hand...

If Prossie was half decent he would be at least coming off the bench every week. Simpson hasnt scored for ages and you lot was saying you needed Fryatt become apparently while he's been injured he has become a "composed" finisher Prossie is ****. We all know
