We've got the strangest looking lineup I've ever seen. Either Droopy's resting players or he's got a touch of Sun stroke.

Hope its a good game lads. May the best team win <cheers>

Well fellas, I said may the best team win but I'm afraid that wasn't the case. A draw would have been a fair result IMO. Still, you have to put the ball in the net and our useless lump up front couldn't whereas you did, so credit to you.

Its obvious why you lads have walked this league looking at that today. Pearson has built a side that's as strong as a herd of Buffalo (the size of that center half!!), very well organised and quality in the right areas. Just add a little bit of quality and honestly you'll be fine next year. Yes, you'll probably be down in the scrap but nearly every promoted team has to do that in their first season and just consolidate. But you'll be okay.

Well done lads, worthy Champions. <applause>

We were easily the better side.

A couple of scares in the first half aside, we walked it in second gear.

As for the rest, thanks Hoopster. Good luck next season.

Queenie wanting to see Mahrez/Knocky up against Assou so we can see how 2nd rate our midfielders are <laugh>

You got your wish Queens, how did that work out? <laugh>

King Assou, Champions League quality player... You boys did well to get him! Just why would a Champions League quality player join the dramas, as opposed to, you know, a Champions League team?

    I won't leave you scratching your head for too long... It's because he's **** <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

Cheers Swords. Not sure what game you were watching though mate. We were in 3rd gear and so comfortable. QPR offered nothing up front as clearly showed why they are one of the lowest scores. No chance in the play offs IMO. I agree though that I think when Pearson and his team find yet more hidden gems from Europe we will be fine next season. Bring it on

    What AKCJ said ^^^

Cheers though Swords, if only other posters from the DQPR board were half as gracious in defeat <yikes>

Its funny how we see games differently according to our personal biases isn't it? I thought QPR were the comfortable side playing in 3rd gear and you lot were huffing and puffing! But yes, we were toothless up front. Just as well we have Austin to come back in.

I'd say Wigan look like going up through the Playoffs tbh.

I don't think that's anything to do with "personal bias" mate. I'd see a doctor if I was you <laugh>

Derby look like the team to beat.

Wigan and a Derby look far too strong for DQPR, still maybe the league loves Arry so much they may allow 4 or 5 teams to go up, you know, give em a chance.

Wasn't the best game ever .. though Krancjar stood out for the dramas ... we looked miles brighter when Matty James came on ... hope Jeff Schlupp injury not too bad ...

Not only were we the better side and deserved to win (we dominated possession, shots on and off target and had the best chances - still not sure how King didn't score) but we were miles from our best too (as we have been in every match since clinching promotion).

I agree about Wigan, you lot need to stay above them so you got the away trip out of the way first. Good luck with that.

Afternoon gents, sorry about the delay but site having problems..or maybe its run by a Chelscum fan...?

Anyway aside from the obvious one sided views from certain posters on both boards, it was a bit of a nothing game really wasnt it. first half could have gone either way but your guys definitely stepped up in the 2nd half, and i was impressed with the goal. well put together and good finish. i havent seen it from another angle so cant say whether green was at fault or not.

im still undecided on that Knocky bloke and Mahrez(?) looks good, just not sure he'll get the same time and space in the prem and he does need to cut the diving down a bit. he seems a bit like Tarrabt was only he's got his head screwed on straight.
Drinkwater was excellent 7 I hope you geet someone to partner him for next season.
kasper was kasper and didnt have a great deal to do really...another must keep player.

For us I thought kranky was Ok, Ned got my MOM and there were a few glimpses of light, but i said we'd be going for a draw, and only playing 3 players that have ever scored in our line up proved it.
At least only 4 of the players you faced will play in the play offs should we get there. thats not your problem though, you can only beat whats put in front of you

We had no attacking presence or outlet up front and that cost us. a decent striker MAY have made a difference but we'll never know i guess.

anyway, you boys did the job you had to do even in that strange formation. should all just be experimenting now in practice for next season with the big boys

Good luck and well done <ok>
