One touch, quick movement absolutely destroyed the opposition in the first half. Diabate certainly wasn't overawed by the situation and doesn't lack self confidence - looks a good buy. Only downsides were Barnes (again), and Iborra and Silva who keep getting caught in possession in dangerous parts of the pitch. Ndidi really strengthened the midfield and made the difference towards the end. Plenty of confidence gained from that game.

The team look much improved under Puel. There now seems to be a far greater understanding between the players, with better movement and the ability to retain possession rather than give the ball away cheaply. But we can still counter attack effectively. Starting to look like a team capable of challenging for top 6 in the near future.

Albeit it was against a League 1 side. Diabate looks like a class player

I think Harvey Barnes is trying too hard rather then playing his natural game

Definite squad depth now, a great performance. Shame about conceding one but very confident going forward.

Great game in a potential banana skin. Definitely some pushing for starts in the league. Diabate great and Nacho. Gray was poor shooting on sight and sulking about others scoring not him

This is definatley the most complete Leicester squad I have seen in my life. Quality in every position and depth

I said in the summer that I thought our recruitment was brilliant this year and I think all the new signings have added something. I have alot of faith in Iheanacho and believe he will come good for us. His 5 goals for us have shown just how good his finishing is. All 5 top finishes.

Simpson is arguably the most solid we’ve ever had and Amartey is really emerging

I don't understand the anti Simpson feeling. Good, solid defensive minded full back who is becoming better at going forward more under Puel.

He’s a good strong RB. TBH if he was younger I’d say get Puel to work his magic. Because he’s 31, I’d say we need to get an younger understudy in, similar to Chilwell and Fuchs, whether that be Amartey or someone in the academy or bought from elsewhere, to learn from all the strong parts of Simpsons game but he won’t be around forever

I don't think anyones saying they are anti-simpson, just that theres no depth past him.

.......... but a run of games has shown that Amartey can do the job at right back. He has been pretty consistent recently.
