Refs having a nightmare. Parker got yellowed retrospectively but forest never got the free kick, he played on. Weird!
Oh well, Magath left on his own... Had we learnt to defend might have been better!! True fulhamish performance...
Well we had our 15 minutes of hope. Summary Forest had 5 shots and scored 5 times Ref was diabolical Fulham defending was diabolical McCormack was outstanding Bottom line though is we lack organisation and shape when it’s needed. That is down to the manager.
Mr W@nker in the middle was awful... Dubious penalty and not awarded a foul and potential red on Hugo...
Well you can't fault the players for effort. 2-0 down after a penalty that should never have been the team came back and actually played some very good stuff. Rodellega and McCormack with David creating the space was a great combination. At times we ran Forest ragged and could have scored more. We gave away stupid fouls in a sort of panic way to aid our defence and to me looked vulnerable each time Forest attacked. Nice football from Fulham upfront and midfield. On my way back to the car many Forest fans said after a bonkers game, how the hell are you bottom. I'm not sure either but I think the manager has something to do with it.
I never thought even when we were leading that we could somehow come away with points. As I have said before there is no tactical input from the coaching staff, many times I have heard and read that the youth is not up to it, but apart from the back 3 who were abysmal Magath has signed another 6 incompetents Mc C excluded, Fotheringham, words fail me Well Felix you have attained a record of sorts the worst last 20 games 20 goals for 41 against. from mid table Sept 2013 to bottom of the championship 1 year later. Even the handful of your dwindling supporters surely cannot substantiate any reason for the club retaining your services
Some positives to take from last nights game, McCormack and Rodallega seem to have a good understanding something I've said since the Cardiff game that was the pairing who had played the best. There was some slick passing in midfield once David came on, and I like the runs Hoogland and Stafylidis were putting in. For a team top of the league we gave Forest a scare and got more shots on trget than them. I think the Ref riled the team when he gave them the penalty for what looked a hard but fair tackle and a bit of confidence came back when McCormack scored from the free-kick. There were chances to win it, but again we gave away silly goals at the back. Need to start sorting out the defense, Hutchinson failed to impress, Amorebieta was off the pace, Budoruv was ball watching for some of the goals. Kiraly was sometimes all over the place, punching instead of catching. Defensively I thought Parker had a poor game again, but in their half played well linking well with David and spreading the ball out to attacking full-backs, Fotheringham was another for me who is below par would rather see Hyndman. I need to see the Rodallega incident again, but I was convinced he was fouled and it was a sending off, but everyone stood up and I missed the contact. Ref got a lot of stick, as his decisions were bizarre at times. The penalty, the Rodallega incident near the end with the goalie where he gave a drop ball to them for no obvious reason, and there should have been a red card for a player of both sides. The Forest programme didn't even tell you who he was, but found later his name is Darren Deadman, appropriate, I'll remember that name. A much more spirited performance and it deserved the applause from the fans after. A Heard a few compliments from Forest fans after on how were played well and caused them problems.
