No injuries but Brendan has a tough decision to make with Iheanacho and Praet coming in and doing so well. But here is what I would go with Schmeichel Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Perez Maddison Barnes Vardy Subs- Ward, Justin, Morgan, Praet, Albrighton, Gray, Iheanacho
Can't really choose a team atm, or even a formation, everyone playing well, different formations utilizing different abilities, i'd trust BR to pick what will be best suited to a team that will park the bus on Saturday. Good times when even Leicester fans don't have a scooby what formation we're going to field
Another option would be 4312 Maddison dropping into the 3 with Perez playing behind Vardy and Iheanacho
In that scenario I’d either prefer Barnes behind the two or Maddison with Praet with Tielemans and Ndidi but that’s basically the diamond without Ndidi so deep
More tactical I think given that he brought Barnes at half time as well. Poor day at the office, need ideally Man City to best Arsenal, Wolves and Spurs draw and Everton to beat Man U
Iheanacho was playing well. Didnt like to see what he did tbf though Gray wasnt great but that was pathetic from Barnes. Everytime he touched the ball he made a mistake. Off the ball didnt make the right moves and when Soyuncu had a go at him for not giving him an option Barnes head dropped
Its been a long time since we've been disappointed with a performance so seems harder to take. Thought Norwich were fantastic and they seem to be one of those teams who play better against good sides. The next two league games now increase in importance.
We have to be realistic - its unlikely we will win the league - Liverpool seem just too good - Brendan has said we are targeting a cup - so two points not gained against Norwich - swapped for a League cup quarter final win this week - I for one would bite your hand off for that!
Will be interesting to see the Everton line up. With the importance of the next 2 games, I think it’s got to be entirely rotated. That said, our second XI currently is really good.
