The mail is rife with mistakes - almost every article features one, some are just so basic. It's worse than a student newspaper.
They clearly don't let trifling matters like grammar get in the way of good old-fashioned racism and scare-mongering!
I presume Kim Kardashian takes a percentage of annual profits! It's old ground but I love to rant about the mail - most of it's traffic is for celebrity gossip - it's format is big photos and minimal text, much like OK or Hello. What gets me most is that they present adverts as stories with no disclaimer whatsoever. This is an old one (I should keep better track when I notice them) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ns-just-bought-freezer-local-supermarket.html. It was clear from other sources that this was a PR move organised by Dr Oetker - nothing in the mail article suggests that. It's hardly surprising because they do exactly the same with political agendas, presenting 'stories' that tally with whatever they are attacking.
I once heard an ex Daily Mail employee describing the ideal Daily Mail story as 'one that gave the readers someone to hate'. It's a ghastly, pernicious rag. When they were literally giving them away as a one-off promotion a couple of years ago, I refused to accept a copy.
