Another negative line up in a game we had a real chance to win from Rodgers. Despite their injuries this was only going one way with this line up. Just not good enough
I would have prefer starting attacking and then getting Choudhury on to close out if needed What is the point in Dennis Praet?
We have so much more potential than we are showing despite our excellent pre match league standing. Results have flattered to deceive given that the opening few games have resulted in a really tight league and performances have been more poor than good. I think Rodgers is holding us back with his tactics (although to a much lesser extent than previous managers). Can’t see us finishing higher than 8th behind the established 6 and Everton. If we were serious about top 6 we had the perfect chance to really go and attack both Chelsea and Man Utd and have gone negative in both
I think a big part of the problem is the form of Ndidi and Choudhury. Both deserves to play but when they do its comes at a cost to our attacking. This is why I thought we signed Praet Its a big decision and in some aspects unfair on the individual but one or Ndidi or Choudhury needs to be dropped Next we play Tottenham in the early Saturday game. They are in Greece on Wednesday in the champions league so we need to come at them and make them chase the game and hopefully pick them off. We cant try and feel our way into the game all the time
Well what a fizzer but in hindsight we should have predicted it. Still, live in hope and we can bounce back in style next week
Result apart definetly a lot of positives but Gray was woeful Perez - struggling to see how he fits in Praet - what's happened there
