Another negative line up in a game we had a real chance to win from Rodgers. Despite their injuries this was only going one way with this line up. Just not good enough
I would have prefer starting attacking and then getting Choudhury on to close out if neededAnother negative line up in a game we had a real chance to win from Rodgers. Despite their injuries this was only going one way with this line up. Just not good enough
We have so much more potential than we are showing despite our excellent pre match league standing. Results have flattered to deceive given that the opening few games have resulted in a really tight league and performances have been more poor than good. I think Rodgers is holding us back with his tactics (although to a much lesser extent than previous managers). Can’t see us finishing higher than 8th behind the established 6 and Everton. If we were serious about top 6 we had the perfect chance to really go and attack both Chelsea and Man Utd and have gone negative in bothI would have prefer starting attacking and then getting Choudhury on to close out if needed
What is the point in Dennis Praet?
I think a big part of the problem is the form of Ndidi and Choudhury. Both deserves to play but when they do its comes at a cost to our attacking. Well what a fizzer but in hindsight we should have predicted it. Still, live in hope and we can bounce back in style next week
