Iheanacho cant play as a 10. Proved it before and Brendan has said he will only ever use him as a striker

If we was going to play that system with Maddison out wide I would prefer to see Choudhury come in and Tielemans pushed forward a little more

Perez really is awful.
He isnt a winger. I dont understand why we brought him if we are going to play him out wide???

Just buy a proper winger

Barnes, Gray, Albrighton and Perez arent good enough options. In Jan or the summer we need to buy a quality winger

Just finished watching and haven't heard any after match comments but we were far too passive. Almost seemed we went out there knowing we would be living on scraps and just conceded everything to them. Maddison and Tielemans were virtually anonymous and Perez just offers nothing. Still putting things in perspective we are second.

Never in the game.

Barnes and Perez were awful

Men against boys

But if someone said to me we would be 2nd by Boxing Day, then I would have snapped their hands off.

Can't really complain, can we!

Very disappointing performance, the real Man City turned up today but the Leicester City of this season didn't.

But yes we're still 2nd and still with a good gap to 5th. Cup Semi Final place. It could be a lot worse.

(If anyone is responsible it's @Barwellfox , I warned everyone what happens when my parents visit but he said it was mean to put them in the shed <laugh><laugh> ).

I thought Man City were at their prime best but we were awful and just let them. The result itself, well most teams will come off worse there, but the performance was just passive. A lot of them just look tired, I’d be tempted to ring the changes for Boxing Day and rest them for the games against West Ham and Newcastle next weekend and New Year’s Day to keep them fresh. Those games will be a chance to get back on track after performances had been slipping and now the last couple of results as well. It’s nothing drastic at the moment but Brendan needs to halt it before it does
