Sadly for opposition teams this equates to Man City are very, very, very good with them and only very, very good without them.....
Really want to win and stop Man City winning the league, they are everything wrong with football. Their fans seem to have a real complex that Mike Dean is going to be biased in our favour tonight, they are pathetic. He’s a ref, yes a lot of the are crap but not openly biased. They are just getting their excuses in. We can cause them problems especially with KDB and Fernandinho out
We have already proved we can beat them Last season at the Etihad aside we have always done well against them. It didnt help we had the Mahrez strike incident when we played them last year But since returning to the Prem we have only been played off the park once and we have played them off the park more then once. With Pep in charge for one of them
I have a really weird conflict of interest tonight - obviously don't want us to lose but really don't want Liverpool to win the league...
Leicester first for me. Need to win to keep alive a chance of 7th. Not really arsed who wins the title but Man City fans are arrogant as. The only reason they haven’t got a reputation is because they are so few and far between! For me anyway
This could be the night we loose Tielemans if he plays well. Everybody will be watching and after his start in the PL for us his value is only rising.
I just meant in general, their quality not just against us. I'm also in the I want us to win and get 7th but don't want liverpool to win the league camp. Certainly doing well so far in this game.
No shame in losing to a wonder goal like that. I was thinking, go on shoot......and duck in row z! And don't get me going on Iheanacho's miss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cant fault the effort. Shows we can defend and have some incredible young players. Thought Ricardo, Choudhry and Ndidi were superb.
Fine effort ... can't even blame Kasper for getting beaten from distance, yet again, given the quality of that strike ... Special mention for Hamza Choudry, Wilf and Madders ... competed brilliantly in midfield ... Think we should move Iheanacho on in the summer for his own benefit as well as ours .... there is a player in there somewhere but it just hasn't worked for him ... or us
Thought we gave a good account of ourselves and defended well. Yes we were sporadic as an attacking unit and tactically I think we could have made efforts to break quicker but there’s a reason they have won 18 of 19 at home. They buy like two players for £50mill for each position! We have no right to go there and win. Kasper couldn’t do anything with the goal, I support being picky we could have closed him down quicker but Kompany could take that shot 100 times and only 1 would fly in the postage stamp!
Pep, Aguero and Sterling didn't want him to shoot as they didn't perceive there to be any danger of him scoring, so why should we? we closed down the danger men. Everyone thought that was going in row z. Except Kompany. And he probably expected it to. We gave then a harder game than a lot of teams there this season. They're in a different class let's be fair. We gave a good account of ourselves, showed great potential for next season. Keep players, few tweaks, bit more experience for the younger lads, some more consistent performances and next season could be great for us.
Baring in mind the result didn’t matter to us, I’m actually quite pleased to have witnessed such an iconic game where the goal will be replayed for the next 30 years or so!
