Lets go back to 4 at the back...

 

We went 4 at the back and conceded 2 more goals - what do I know.

Vardy did score to make it 3-1 and we are going for it as Mahrez + Ihenatcho are on.

 

Finished 5-1 with Aguero scoring 5.

I expect Mahrez needing another 10 day break...

 

Aguero only got 4!!!!

Not sure why we changed the system at half time.

We got nowhere near them today. Gave the ball away every time we had it!!

Dragovic was our best player today, but Chilwell and Schmeichel were shocking!!

 

Absolute shambles. They are good enough without gifting them goals. First half was quite positive then we just self destructed in the second. I can’t see a side there good enough to finish 7th tbh or win the cup

 

It looked a right shambles to me, what did Silva do wrong to get subbed, why is Iborra left out!
sorry but i am beginning to question some of the managers decisions, Man City are a great side
but we made them look brilliant today without them even having to get out of 2nd gear.

 

If your going to have a bad game, it may as well be against a team that you wern't expecting anything from anyway.

Im surprised we went with 3 at the back tbh, it just breeds uncertainty with the players, Claudio refused to switch formations the season we won the league against the big sides, its actually braver to stick with what you know.

I assume Silva picked up an injury or still isn't upto speed. Would have preferred to keep it as it was at half time and bring Iborra on for Silva if thats the case.

Bad game all round really, Diabate isn't a number 10, Schmeichel had his mare of the season and they exploited Fuchs as much as possible because they knew he was the full back playing out of position.

We were lucky to go in at half time equal tbf, and we didn't shut down De Bruyne and you get punished with his pin perfect passing/crossing.

 

A day best forgotten ... some of the worse defending I've ever seen (Dragovic apart) ... Kaspar every aspect of his game exposed ..... both full-backs guilty of losing their men for tap ins ..

Hopefully there will be a very positive reaction
