Thought James looked quite handy. Disappointing treatment of Sterling but he gets a rough ride quite often. Rich considering Vardy and Mahrez diving! Arguably Gerrard should've had a penalty too... You really could've scored a couple though. We're there for the taking.
I'm sorry, but I've got no idea where this Gerrard penalty decision is coming from. He jumped into the air, collided with Kasper, and then fell over. Never a penalty. Personally think Morgan's sending off was unfair too, as Lambert was a long way from goal and out wide- Wasilewski more centrally would have got back. However, we would have still lost with Morgan, possibly by more, as he seemed determined to allow Liverpool to score, and our defence was much more stable when it seemed to be comprised of De Laet, Wasilewski and Jeff Schlupp! I've been a big fan of Morgan ever since he signed for us, and he really stood out in the Championship, but that's his level. Last couple of weeks he's made far too many errors (no one should score an OG and then get sent off 3 days later). We really need to sign someone better.
To be fair, i've seen Vardy's dive and it's absolutely pathetic. Doesn't mean I regret screaming at the **** in yellow for not booking Lucas Leiva mind. Sterling gets what he deserves, he spends the opening 20 minutes of the game rolling around and when the fullback realises he's a dickhead he hits him for 6 every time he gets the ball. RDL dealt with him perfectly well, don't think Sterling beat him once which is probably the first time a winger has failed to do that against him this season.
I hope not! ... thought Lambert did it ... if indeed it was Wes it's another to add to his 'impressive' list of recent 'assists'
It was Wes, Lambert was actually standing offside when it happened, if Wes hadn't done that then the goal probably wouldn't have stood.
I don't know if you've watched it since but Gerrard jumps (anticipating keeper to dive low I think) then lands, THEN gets bumped over. Penalty all day. Thought it was a foul live too... was a 'very good dive'! Sterling wasn't on his game tonight (hasn't been in a while)... he was looking for fouls the entire time... but he never dived... he was fouled! I think we use him to get out of our half Can't recall exactly but you might be right! They have to be active etc though. Anyway you'll definitely improve - some good players there if you sort the defence out. Good luck
