One big problem from last night is the injury to Smith leaves us very short on height at corners and freekicks and Burn isn't being played. Both Voser and Richards were getting beaten in the air all over the pitch, and I'm sure managers will pick up on that. Neither of our central defenders are good at jumping from a standing position, both can be good at heading when they have a run at it from a goal kick. I thought Bodurov had one of his better games in the 2nd half, but I'm not convinced that he should be a first choice partner with Hutchinson, who himself can be very hit and miss.

If we can implement the 2nd half performance for a full 90 minutes then we should be seeing better results. At 1-1 I think Hull supporters were a bit worried as we had the majority of chances, but that lapse at the back late on again did us in, and their cheers were more from relief that they'd won.
