Knockaert's been a bit out of sorts recently anyway, and that might explain it. I agree that we shouldn't sack Pearson if we don't go up- this club needs some stability. As long as we don't do anything stupid I see no reason why we couldn't win the league this season- barring QPR, who'd probably storm it again, none of the Premier League relegation suspects look up to much.

I'm with Proud on this, both on team selection and also on the importance of this in terms of Nigel Pearson's tenure as manager ... those who think Pearson will get another season if we don't at least get to the play-off final are in cloud cuckoo land frankly - not that I agree with it, but I believe that he will get his cards if we don't get promoted - simple as - the precedents are there for all to see - Di Matteo arguably the worst, but also Nigel Adkins, even Steve Keane in terms of how Blackburn were actually going in the Championship at the time ......

I think Nigel Adkins will please the Hull fans more than they will please me. Purely down to his interview technique.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying here AKCJ - we had a couple of years of Adkins' post match drivel when he was in charge at Scunthorpe. His interviews are at the opposite end of the spectrum from Nigel's but not necessarily in a good way and it was quite a relief to listene.rs of the local radio station when he moved away. Verbal diarroeah seems to be a common complaint in Scunny

I suppose Sensible Steve is the right way of going about an interview?

Honestly don't know why you get so worked up about it.

Steve Bruce's interviews have been one of the pleasant surprises - often very funny, always honest and self deprecating but, best of all, quite short.
