I said before the match I didn't want Krammy to start, because I think he's taking a big step up and it could be psychologically damaging for him he starts to believe he can't cut it. He needs to be eased in, unfortunately we have such a striker crisis I don't know if we can afford this luxury, plus his fee pretty much demands that he hits the ground running. Nugent is a frustrating one for me for the reason you've said; he does so much right but he is NOT a striker and was always going to struggle to get more than six goals a season at this level. That said he contributed a lot on Saturday and wonder if he'd be better playing as an attacking midfield role, as few of our central players seem to offer much going forward. Vardy's the real disappointment for me - I thought with his pace he'd be a threat at any level, but it's his decision making that's been so off. Of course his pace won us a ridiculous amount of penalties last season, which the officials seem keen to balance out this time around, so that doesn't help. So for now Ulloa remains our biggest threat, and it's asking a lot to rely on one man to bail us out, especially a "team" player that likes to defend as much as attack. We're so close to being good enough you can almost taste it - but we're not quite there. Questions will be asked if we did enough business in the transfer window, but I suppose we do have to keep FFP at the back of our minds should we be relegated - we don't want to do what QPR will do next season and end up in the Conference . So... when does the loan window reopen?!
So it seems McArthur could have come here if it wern't for Wigan messing about, what manager should have kept his trap shut? http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/9705749/pearson-and-mcarthur-play-down-clash
