Is this a big derby for both/either club? Rafa said it's a derby but not a big one for Chelsea. Is he right or is he once again demonstrating his lack of humility?
More like he is trying to cover his a$$ just in case... There is a secret feeling among many neutrals and Fulham fans that we can win this game especially taking advantage their dire defensive performances recently.
I actually agree on this one. It is a bigger game for us. Lets face it we've beaten them once in 30 odd games!
Unfortunately true... but at the current form that Chelsea are in is a derby for both sides I believe!!
It's a derby that means more to Fulham than us without a doubt. I suspect you hope we'll lose every game where as genuinely I couldn't care less what Fulham does unless it directly effects us. Was routing for you in your Europa League run as well. Could never say the same for Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool etc However I expect the game to be very close given our recent problems and if there was ever a chance to play us it is now. Personally I'm going for a score draw. 1-1 maybe. You've got a decent record at the Bridge for getting draws and I think that will continue.
He's one Chelsea fan. You'd be hard pushed to find a genuine Chelsea fan that is confident or even enthusiastic about tonight. I can see a narrow cagey win but it will be tight. It's been a long time since either side won a game of football.
Might want to step down from your high horse there. I couldn't care less where Chelsea finish this season, you're not expected to be competing with us for places in mid table so why should we? I care where QPR finish because as well as location rivalry, they also have the Hughes/Zamora connection and above all else, their fans are horrible and deluded. I do have a bit more dislike for you now though due to the shameful treatment of RDM.
In the old days it wasn't uncommon to go Chelsea one week and then Fulham the next if one was away. Those were the days when people didn't really travel to away games. I quite like Fulham and used to go a fair bit when Chelsea weren't playing. In all honesty it isn't a big derby but Fulham have a great team now and are more than a match for anybody I believe.
Not a cat's chance in hell IMO but your entitled to your opinion. I can't remember the last time we scored more than 1 in a game. 1-0 or 2-0 at best. Fulham have quality all over the park although some key players are missing.
Okay a PL game I meant. Shaktar was a fluke. Almost everybody I spoke to coming out of the game said it was daylight robbery. Shaktar gifted us 2 goals and we created little against them, by far the best team we've faced this season.
I refer you to Bandit's post. The fact you think that 'little clubs' like ours care as much about your results as you just shows how insular fans like you are. Take your head out of your arse and try and be a little more like District Line.
Anyway, I actually winced at our starting lineup, you've got to guess that Jol has one eye on this saturday's game. Not expecting anything out of this. Wish I wasn't frigging working!
Dear oh dear Did you even have three shots on target? Don't expect to see you back here to eat some humble pie.
