Just got back from Cardiff - feeling that we should have got a draw from a disppointing game. It was a scrappy goal to concede, although it seems that we were not prepared for the long-throws (ala Delap). Key issue is to get the midfield sorted so that we can push forward quicker - Ross must be freed to play further forward; Fofana just did not work out; although I felt that LVC could have made the difference today. Good to see Kaca back, and hope he can start soon. We still don't have an adequate Plan B, but at least Kit made some changes - a double substitution followed by a a third. We need to spend some money this month. Apparently, we had 600+ away fans - Credit due to the core at the back kept up the chanting well. Although I do wonder why a few bother drive a long way just to be miserable at our team when things don't work out. The damage was done pre-KIt, so I'm prepared to cut him some slack, given he's got a darn site more points with the same resources as the Cheesemaker managed to achieve nothing. COYW!
Should have pulled Hugo instead of CW an put RossMc up front I think there is a case for dropping Hugo for a while, gone off the boil a bit
I wasn't able to see any of the game yesterday, just having a look on the BBC report it looks like we went for the same team essentially with no wingers. What formation were we playing?
I felt that the payers on the pitch should have played a lot better than they did. The amount of possession and attempts on goal are disappointing to say the least. We don't seem to play on the break as much, we seem content to slow it down. When we do play it quickly up the pitch we are dangerous. We have the players to do this but it does highlight what a loss to the team LVC is!
