I would go with the attitude of win the game and then take off the likes of Vardy, Maddison and Tielemans instead of needing to bring them on later. Burton have pulled off a few shocks recently

I keep reading on twitter someone close to Iheanacho has been killed in a car crash in Nigeria so he might not be in the squad for personal reasons

That's one hell of a bench.
My thoughts exactly - clearly shows that we have real depth in the squad now. The other day I was wondering what position we need to buy-in at the next window but nothing immediately came to mind (seems to have contantly been RB (even during our PL winning season) for many years before recent times though!)

Barnes really needs to learn some composure in front of goal. He snatches at everything, had a great chance and ended up putting the ball into the car park

Safely through. That's the main thing.

What odds on getting Man City again?!
Our saving grace with your last sentence is whether they fix it so Man City and Liverpool get Oxford and Colchester. Leaves the rest of us as all premier league sides to battle it out.
Ideally we get Colchester, Liverpool get the one of the remaining sides (Everton or Wolves/Villa) as they’ll be hectic at that point in December and those sides could knock out a weakened Liverpool side (especially Wolves) and Man City v Chelsea or Man Utd which probably gives the best chance of them going out
