Why are Hernandez's international appearances always right at the end of the international break? Part of the problem with his absurd fragility must be that while European players play at the weekend his country's games always seem to mean him getting back on Thursday or Friday and barely getting to join in any preparation for our game that weekend.
Leicester played the best team they had - they didn't select players out of sentimental value - meyler loses the ball too much, passes to the opposition too much and gives away silly free kicks
My point was suggesting Mason has more passes completed than Meyler means he's better than Meyler and more valuable to our team is a simplistic way of looking at it when our supposed **** team has 6 points from our opening three games which included the champions and a supposed dominant Manchester United side. Our 13/14 side performed better than our 14/15 side despite the latter supposedly being better. Things don't always work out through simple statistics.
Thudd has probably given away more goals from his tackles in and around the box in the last 2 years than anyone.
When did Mason last play a full game at top level? Same for Mbokani too. If everyone's fit MP has to play the same team as has started all season, new lads on the bench.
It's same team. You don't mess... Unless MP has seen enough in training to be positive. Which he can't have. New kids will be eased in as subs or for injury and naturally the team takes shape. I can only see a change up top if he wants to be brave. How to destroy team spirit: drop a player for a newbie who is unproven and unplayed.
Its really not rocket science that masons alot better than meyler its why phelan signed him hahahah Lets argue for the sake of arguing Its inevitable mason will take meylers place Please write a post on why this wont happen and il gladly humour your ridiculous ramblings hahaha #thinkbeforethoupostsshit
Pretty much same as v Man utd. Mcguire at Cb livermore to Cm Clucas to lwf Dio up top. Possibly mason for meyler, though would rather give meyler the chance to keep his starting place.
I just noticed on the BBC website that Andre Gray has asked for a personal hearing to defend his homophobic tweets - the resulting delay (on top of an earlier one week delay) ensures that he will be available for the game against City.
I think you're right, he will take Meyler's place, he just shouldnt take his place until Meyler has done something to warrant being dropped or Mason has done something to warrant replacing him. And that hasnt happened yet.
You lot would make excellent england That makes sense All im saying is im a ruthless **** and id drop him in the quest for three precious points
There have already been a number of perfectly reasonable posts explaining the opposing view. I also disagree with you, I'm sure Meyler will start.
Really looking forward to this game. I think we'll get a good idea of what we're all about against Burnley. Against Leicester, Swansea & Utd we were very much the underdog with a small squad and had no pressure on us to come away with anything. Burnley is a different matter.. we no longer have a stupidly small squad and we are playing a team expected to finish around us. Phelan also for the first time has options to switch things up, so we'll see what he's all about too. I'd like to see us being positive and go for the win.. ___________Jak Elmo Livermore Davies Robertson _________Clucas____ _____Huddlestone Mason _________Henrikson ___ _Hernandez Mbokani subs: Marshall Maguire Tymon Meyler Weir Diomonde Keane
I don't expect many changes, if any. I expect Marshall, Mason etc to end up starting XI players, but I don't expect them to walk straight into the team, we've started too well with the existing players.
