We have not scored from open play in the first half of any game this season...

 

Hope he gets fined by the club. Dont want divers and what he did was stupid

Today we has really let everyone down

 

1-1 Vardy penalty.

He has been brilliant since he came on.

 

We lack creativity without Maddison who cant play again next week. Hopefully Maguire is back but I think next week is Adrien Silva’s big chance. Time to show us what he can really do as so far he hasnt

 

Maddison will miss Southampton on Tuesday won't he?

 

Not 100% sure as they change the rules in the summer to stop players getting suspended for cup games

 

Silva isn't the creative player - he is the water carrier that passes to them as Mendy is doing now.

Could be a chance for Diabate and Ghazzell to show their stuff.

 

Actually I’d play okasaki behind Vardy and create through graft rather than anything else.

 

Silva was a creative player for Sporting and signed for that reason. He just hasnt looked capable of imposing himself on games for us

 

Tbf Silvas never played as high as Maddison, think he was seen as a player that could play through balls from deep but hasn't been able to, wouldn't mind seeing him playing higher with Ndidi and Mendy/iborra behind.

 

TBH I've only seen him play for Portugal and he always played deep then, recycling the ball from the defenders and passing it to other players while he stays in his position.

If he is an attacking player, then he hasn't been playing that role for us and I wouldn't mind seeing what he can do against Southampton in the cup next week.

 

Regardless of his role Silva has imposed himself on any games. I just think he isnt cut out for the pace and physciality of the Prem. Slimani couldnt cope with the pace

 

Probably - isn't helped that when he has played it is alongside Ndidi who has a habit of roaming away from his position.

Would like to see him with Mendy - if he can't do anything then, it might be time to get rid.

 

Ndidi is our best midfielder by far. Cant drop him just to accomdate Silva. Silva needs to play well to take Ndidi shirt if he wants that

 

What I mean is that Ndidi has been playing as the more attacking CM for whatever reason - would like to see Silva in that role if that is his best position as he has always played as a DM for us.

 

Not sure who made this up but saw it doing the rounds. Maddison vs Wolves second game and Iheanacho vs Huddersfield. A shot from outside the area and counter attack. I was thinking Chilwell vs Arsenal but that went as an og against Bellerin. We haven’t scored enough but that ‘fact’ is just wrong.
