What? No Mahrez or King in the starting line up? That'll do nicely. I'd go with that formation, but I'd put Amartey on the bench instead of King in case Iborra runs out of steam. He looked absolutely spent in the Liverpool tie.

 

Would drop Inheanacho for another CM - probably King as he is good at running around aimlessly and drop Dragovic for Fuchs for better cover behind Chilwell but otherwise a decent lineup.

We will end up playing 442 as usual though.

Totally agree, just keep Mahrez and King out of the side!

 

I don't think he'll play both Okazaki and Iheancho with Vardy ...

Vardy is not fit enough to be called up for England next week - is pretty much ruled out vs Bournemouth as well.

 

He could play for England but its been agreed he is best to rest so therefore he didnt get called up

 

I would like to see this......but I doubt I will!!

Gray starting over Mahrez? are we just trying to rub it in to Bournemouth for not being able to sign Gray?

 

No surprise in the formation but Gray is starting over Mahrez and so is Vardy - will be interesting how he is as he has a hip injury and needed an injection for this game.

Riyad Mahrez has been dropped and Christian Fuchs coming back in for Ben Chilwell

 

Given Mahrez's form, is no surprise.

Can see him staying up front and supporting Vardy more often then not - Vardy has a hip injury so don't want him doing all the running by himself.

 

Well that is a great start - Defoe hit the woodwork and Simpson nearly gave away a penalty in the first 5 min.

Could be a long game for us...

 

Worst 20 mins I've seen from a Leicester side in a long time ... and Mahrez can't be blamed either ...

 

For a team that was Champions 2 years ago, we have turned into a bunch of clueless players who are a embarrassment!

Embarraingly poor first half ...totally devoid of ideas ...

 

I always said results were more important that performances. Now however the performances are so crap, the system so predictable and the manager showing no willingness to change a thing....I'd just take a good performance right now. Given that I live in sheffield, I'm finding myself far more interested in watching Sheff Utd currently as they play great stuff and get results. Obviously I'll always be a City fan and love the club but it's difficult to get up for the games at the minute
