Give B'mouth some credit. They have started well and didn't deserve to lose at Liverpool.

"There for the taking"??? Very naive Ed. They are are still flying on momentum from last season, they were unlucky to lose at Liverpool, beat a very decent West Ham away from home. We have no given right to roll teams over.. We are not Barcelona but bit by bit we are improving.
For me Ranieri got it right today putting an extra man in midfield too many were of our players were not at the races.
As for their keeper being on the beach, kasper could have been too really. Don't recall him having to do much or make many saves?
Let's have a reality check. We have had a bloody good start to the season, far better than any of us would have hoped for.
But Bournemouth being "there for the taking" ..... Not a chance !!

In addition... If I was a Bournemouth fan seeing how we played first half, I'm sure they are saying WE were there for the taking!

Its a similar situation to our good start last year, they could still be bottom of the league for 140+ days ... as long as its not us <ok>

Watched MotD - we should have had 2 penalties, Bournemouth should have had one and Huth should have been sent off.

I'm happy with a draw given everything.

Being 1 down & scoring with, what, 4 mins to go of normal time & away from home as well, yeah I´m happy with 1-1.
Nice break & then have a ****ing right old go at Villa at home.
    8 down & 32 to go.

I'd agree starting with 5 in midfield was the right way to go. Bournemouth are playing with confidence and the manager would have been wanting to keep it tight, see where the opposition strength lay and aim to go in at half time level and assess his options for the second half. The plan was only undone by the sort of goal you can't legislate for or defend against. I don't think introducing Dodoo was the best decision. It's one thing playing against Bury and another to play in the Prem, no matter what his confidence is like. I would have brought on Fuchs, moved Schlupp forward and switched Albrighton to the right. Having done that it would have meant bringing on Kramaric or Ulloa to use their height. However it's difficult to argue against Ranieri's changes when we came away with a good draw.

It's easy to be disappointed with the fact that we started out with 2 wins but have now only got 2 points from our last 6. Points-wise we would have been better with a win and a defeat but confidence-wise it is better to say we are still undefeated and have proved to teams that we are capable of coming from behind.

It's more just the fact we play better with two up top. We have proved that if we play our own game rather than 'against the game of others' we are a match for anyone on our day

It's true to say we are more likely to score when we play two up top (but it isn't guaranteed), but conversely we are more likely to concede as well. Every team's supporters will think their team is capable of beating anyone else on their day but, unless we have the quality of someone like Man City at the moment, the reality is that that 'our day' is not going to come round every week. Players are human and have off days, and in some games the opposition can get the breaks.

We played two up top in the second half and it came down to a point saving penalty 4 minutes from time rather than us creating loads of goal scoring chances.

I know what your saying but we had a system that made us unbeaten and one of the best form teams in the league, not only this season but over the last 22 or so games and I everyone is praising how well we play, particularly away from home. If we are going to feel like we have to change that system against a newly promoted Bournemouth then we may as well fold up and go home now

If Vardy had been awarded that last minute penalty and put it away for the winner, would you still have felt the same way?

I have to say I was surprised by the decision to play Vardy as a lone striker, although I can understand why he did. And I was even more surprised that Inler didn't feature and Dodoo did.

Yes because, and this is only my opinion, my point is proved by the fact we were **** until we went 4-4-2 and then we would have come from a goal down to win it whilst employing that system.

Naive again Ed. And doing a huge injustice to Bournemouth. Horses for courses we can't just be gung ho because" oh no problem it's only little old Bournemouth" they are "there for the taking". Doesn't work like that pal

... Bournemouth have started very well and could consider themselves most unlucky to have lost to Villa and Liverpool... personally I'd have preferred us playing two up front.. but can't really complain at Ranieri's tactics so far ... could well have worked if Mahrez hadn't been clattered by Gradel early doors...

I do get what your saying but my point really is that we personally have proven ourselves to play better in a 4-4-2. We beat loads of good teams playing that formation last year and carried in where we left off this year, including a draw against tottenham. I just personally feel that we need to play our own game rather than against the game of the opposition unless they are in probably the top 5-6 of the league, which bournemouth arent.
